ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I'm Hollie, a mixed media artist working mostly with texture and acrylic on canvas.

 

Whilst studying Fine Arts in Bristol from 2014 I became enamoured with the colours and shapes found in nature and established an abstract style of exploring these themes on canvas. Nature is usually my inspiration.

Previously, my work has involved intricate monochrome paintings of flowers, a motif which on occasion I integrate into a colourful piece for a contrasted outcome.

 

Since university I painted in my bedroom for years, filling the house with canvases. Now, working from my studio in London, I continue to expand my practice.
